Ice Cream Boets is all about properly lekker ice cream, big gees, and a dessert experience that feels proudly South African. We slab-mix real ice cream with real toppings live in front of you, turning every order into a bit of a show — full of flavour, fun, and personality.

We run two sides of the same boet: a physical ice cream shop in Menlo Park, Pretoria, and an events catering team with crews in Cape Town and Gauteng who travel for weddings, corporate functions, festivals and brand activations across South Africa.

Whether you’re planning to pop in once we reopen, bringing the family, or chasing something sweet with a bit of attitude, the Boets are here to serve ice cream that hits differently. Fresh, bold, playful, and made with good energy from start to finish.

We picked the name because boet is what you call your mate, your brother, your good ou. That’s the energy: mates making something proper for other mates. Throw it. Catch it. Love it.
